Power Begins with Stewardship: Why Strength is a Spiritual Practice
January doesn’t require punishment. It requires wisdom.
So many people enter the new year with pressure to “fix” themselves. But God is not asking you to become someone else. He is asking you to steward what He has already entrusted to you.
Strength is not vanity. Strength is capacity. It is preparation. It is protection. It is the discipline of caring for the body that carries your calling.
The world says, “Work out so you look better.”
Grace says, “Move so you can live well.”
Scripture (NIV)
“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”
— 1 Corinthians 6:19–20 (NIV)
