WEEK 1: When God Begins Something New

APRIL SERIES: A 5-Part Resurrection Journey

April steps in with quiet authority.

The earth shifts. What once looked lifeless begins to breathe again. Buds form. Light lingers longer. Everything points to one truth:

God is still in the business of new beginnings.

Scripture Anchor

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
— Isaiah 43:19 (NIV)

But here’s where most people miss it—
new things rarely begin where we can see them.

They begin underground.
In silence.
In hidden places where faith is tested and patience is stretched.

The resurrection of Jesus is the ultimate proof:
what looks finished is not final.

This month, we’re not just talking about spring—we’re walking through transformation:

  • Preparing your heart

  • Letting go of what’s holding you back

  • Trusting God in the waiting

  • Embracing resurrection

  • Living like you’ve been made new

Because if God is starting something new in your life, you don’t want to miss it.

Prayer of Surrender

Lord,
Open my eyes to what You are doing.
Even when I don’t see it clearly, help me trust that You are working.
Prepare my heart for the new thing You are bringing to life.
Amen.

Grace Reflection

Where in your life do you sense a shift—something new beginning beneath the surface?
