Returning to the Quiet Place

“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.” — Mark 1:35 (NIV)

Soul Reflection:
Even Jesus withdrew from the demands around Him to be with the Father. Stillness is not avoidance; it is alignment. When life grows loud, returning to the quiet place recenters the soul and restores clarity. We are not sustained by activity alone, but by communion with God.

Guided Prayer:
Lord, draw me back to the quiet place. Help me value time with You above every demand and distraction. Restore my spirit as I meet You there. Amen.

Stillness Practice:
Set aside five uninterrupted minutes today to be alone with God—no agenda, just presence.

Rooted Affirmation:
I am drawn back to God’s presence, where my soul is renewed and restored.
