Healthy meals do not need to be complicated to be nourishing.
A simple grain bowl brings together whole grains, vegetables, protein, and healthy fats into one balanced meal that fuels the body and keeps you satisfied.
It is one of the easiest meals to prepare using ingredients you may already have in your kitchen.

Nourishing Grain Bowl Recipe
Ingredients
• 1 cup cooked quinoa or brown rice
• 1 cup roasted vegetables (broccoli, carrots, or sweet potatoes)
• ½ cup grilled chicken or chickpeas
• ½ avocado, sliced
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
Cook the quinoa or brown rice according to package directions.
Roast vegetables in the oven at 400°F for 20–25 minutes with olive oil and salt.
Add cooked grains to a bowl.
Layer roasted vegetables and protein on top.
Add avocado slices and drizzle with olive oil.
Serve warm.
