Rooted, Not Rushed
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” — Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)
Soul Reflection
Rushing drains the soul. Hope renews it. God never asks us to outrun grace or force growth. Strength comes not from speed, but from trust—from waiting with expectation rather than anxiety.
When we slow our pace and place our hope in the Lord, renewal follows. Not always dramatically, but steadily. Rooted faith does not rush the process; it trusts God with the timing. And in that trust, strength returns.
Guided Prayer
Lord, I confess my tendency to rush ahead of You. Teach me to wait with hope instead of impatience. Renew my strength as I trust You fully—with my time, my plans, and my future. Amen.
Stillness Practice
Today, choose one task to do slowly and intentionally. Let it become an act of worship rather than obligation.
Rooted Affirmation
I am rooted in hope, not hurried by fear.
