Stillness in the Storm

“Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.” — Psalm 62:1 (NIV)

Soul Reflection
Storms test where our rest truly lives. When circumstances feel unstable, stillness becomes an act of faith. The soul that rests in God is not untouched by trouble—it is anchored despite it.

Stillness in the storm does not mean answers arrive immediately. It means our hope is no longer tethered to outcomes but to God Himself. When the world is loud, the soul can still find rest in the One who saves, sustains, and steadies us.

Guided Prayer
God, the noise around me feels overwhelming. Yet I choose to bring my restless heart to You. You are my refuge, my strength, my salvation. Teach my soul to rest in You even when the storm has not passed. Amen.

Stillness Practice
Write down one concern you’ve been carrying. Place it somewhere visible today as a reminder to entrust it to God.

Rooted Affirmation
My soul finds rest in God alone.
