Stillness Before Decisions

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5 (NIV)

Soul Reflection
We often rush decisions out of fear—fear of missing out, fear of getting it wrong, fear of waiting too long. But Scripture reminds us that wisdom grows in stillness. Trust deepens when we stop leaning solely on our own understanding.

Stillness before decisions creates space for discernment. It allows us to listen instead of react, to pray instead of assume. God is not intimidated by our questions or our waiting. He meets us in the pause.

Guided Prayer
Lord, I place my decisions before You. Quiet the voices of pressure and confusion. Help me trust You with my whole heart, even when the path is unclear. Lead me in Your wisdom and timing. Amen.

Stillness Practice
If you are facing a decision, pause today before acting. Take a few moments to pray, asking God for clarity and peace before moving forward.

Rooted Affirmation
I trust God to lead me wisely.
